A Warrior's Heart Review * Warning May Contain Spoilers*

So for months I have been super excited to see Kellan and Ashley new movie A Warriors Heart. The movie is about a Conner a male athlete who's father is in the military. After his fathers unfortunate passing he is left devastated and is left being comforted by Brooklyn ( Ashley). The film is cute and although in some scenes both actors acting seemed to fail and fall short they made up for it in some scenes. Both Ashley and Kellan are talented actors and in most movies can totally hold their own but together this movie kind of sucked. I am normally really nice about it. But this movie was so cheezy and weird and the romantic scenes made for some very awkward moments for fans who sat through it.

The awkwardness had nothing to do with them playing brother and sister in Twilight Series it was really that they seemed awkward together.

Overall this film was cheezy, badly acted and seemed like there was no point to this movie.

Rating 4/10

Twitter gets Fans Excited About Warriors Heart

Santa Monica, CA, December 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene have taken to Twitter to release details on their first starring roles in the highly anticipated romantic drama “A Warrior's Heart.” Arriving in theaters and on Video-On-Demand” this past Friday, “A Warrior's Heart” was written by Martin Dugard and directed by Mike Sears. The film not only stars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene (“The Twilight Saga”) but also Adam Beach (“Cowboys and Aliens”), Gabrielle Anwar (“TV's “Burn Notice") and Chord Overstreet ("Glee").

Stars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene began tweeting about the film last week which has caused an avalanche of interest on Twitter from Twilight fans. Within minutes of Kellan and Ashley's tweets, thousands of fans responded with their own tweets asking where they could see the film. On Friday “A Warrior's Heart” arrived in both a 10-city limited release and a same day Video-On Demand release in approximately 100 million homes. The film will play on Amazon Instant Video, Apple iTunes, Brighthouse, Charter, Comcast, Cox, DIRECTV, Dish Network, Mediacom, Rogers, Shaw, Sony Playstation, Time Warner Cable, Vudu, Verizon and Zune on Xbox.

Best known for their roles as Emmett and Alice Cullen in the "Twilight" movies, Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene's incredibly moving performances have been getting a lot of positive buzz and the arduous training Kellan and co-star Chord Overstreet undertook to play star lacrosse players has earned critical praise at early screenings.

In shock and denial over his Marine father's death, high school lacrosse star Conor Sullivan (Kellan Lutz) starts acting out in self destructive ways including a violent on-field clash with his long-time nemesis (Chord Overstreet). To straighten him out, his mother (Gabrielle Anwar) sends him to a wilderness lacrosse camp run by his dad's Native American combat buddy (Adam Beach). Strengthened by the love and support from his girlfriend Brooklyn (Ashley Greene) Conor embraces the game's Native American roots and open his eyes to the true meaning of sportsmanship and life.

“This is a movie the whole family can watch together,” said producer Steven Istock. “It's a date movie, a feel good movie and fans of Kellan Lutz and and Ashley Greene are going to be delighted.”

Ashley and Kellan MTV Interview A Warriors Heart

"A Warrior’s Heart" starring "Twilight" co-stars Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene hits theaters Friday (in limited release), and in a new featurette, the two sometimes-vampires give a little insight into their characters. Plus, Ashley reveals what it’s like to make out with her real-life bud on-screen.

Kellan stars in the flick as popular guy Conor Sullivan, the school’s most valued lacrosse player, who is struggling with the death of his Marine father. "This film has everything. It’s a great coming-of-age story," he said, adding that it’s action-packed and that he often does his own stunts. We don’t think you’ll be needing a stunt-double for those shirtless locker room scenes, Kellan. We think you got that one covered.

Ashley co-stars as Brooklyn, a cheerleader who inevitably falls for Conor. "It’s this battle, and Brooklyn helps Conor through his problems,” Ashley explained. “She’s a strong character.” So what’s it like to lock lips with your former on-screen bro? Apparently not so weird! “All the romance stuff, it’s easy. It’s great,” Ashley said. “It’s so nice to already come in and know someone and be comfortable enough to do stuff like that.” Getting paid to make out with Kellan? We wouldn’t complain either.

Watch the featurette on youtube to get an inside look at "A Warrior’s Heart" and also find out which scene made Ashley want to cry real tears!
