Summits Not Happy with Breaking Dawn Set Inside Footage

Are you wondering how we got all those great inside shots of the Breaking Dawn set on Paraty? Close ups of Kristen and some of Rob? Summit isn't happy about it, that's for sure.

EOnline.com reports "people over at Summit are not happy campers today, and we do not blame ‘em at all on this one. Earlier this morning, HollywoodLife posted an unauthorized video from the Breaking Dawn set. See, apparently a fan snuck into Rob and Kristen's Brazilian love nest during filming and walked around with a hidden camera. The uninvited guest is literally right next to Pattinson and Stewart, and we know they have more than a handful of crazy ass fans.

At this discovery, Summit released a statement:

"We're looking into the situation."

"We're also exploring the possibility it was security or authorized personal that snuck a camera in. Security will be increased even more moving forward."

Went to far? I think so..

Muse Will Appear On The Eclipse Soundtrack?

TA has a reporter who has been covering events down at the SXSW (South By Southwest) Festival in Austin, Texas all week. Well today that reporter happened to find themselves in conversation with informed sources from Chop Shop/Atlantic Records. The source has confirmed that Muse will indeed be on the Eclipse soundtrack.
I guess it makes sense that this would be the place that the label and the band could come together. Both Muse and Chop Shop were at SXSW this weekend, so maybe they were able to come to some kind of terms to work together again on Eclipse.

So unless more changes between now and when the soundtrack comes out, we can celebrate. All I know is I want to sing from the rooftops now! Having just seen them in concert (go if you can!), I don’t think I’ll ever get enough Muse. Now all we need is official confirmation from Muse and Summit on this one!

Exclusive: Summit looking at Academy Award nominated directors for ‘Breaking Dawn’

Yes, it’s still early days, but Summit is trying to up its pedigree for its big-screen adaptation of the final installment of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series. Sources tell EW that the studio has reached out to at least three top-notch directors, including Sofia Coppola (Lost in Translation), Gus Van Sant (Milk), and Bill Condon (Dreamgirls) to gauge their interest in what is likely to be two movies. (Van Sant’s reps confirmed that he’s been approached, but Coppola and Condon’s people didn’t return phone calls by press time. Summit declined to comment.)

No decisions are likely to be made until the studio delivers screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg’s detailed outline to the directors. That should happen sometime next week. Until then we can just wonder how these three very diverse directors will approach Bella’s controversial birthing scene.

Summit replaces editor on 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse'

Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the uber-successful Twilight series, confirmed this morning that it has replaced Eclipse editor Art Jones with Nancy Richardson, the editor of Catherine Hardwicke’s original Twilight film. The studio is not placing blame on Jones, who previously worked with Eclipse director David Slade on his horror film 30 Days of Night as well as Slade’s Ellen Page-starrer Hard Candy. They do believe, however, that Slade’s material – which they call “very good” – needed a stronger edit. The studio has more confidence in Richardson, who they say understands the emotion of the characters and is an ace at balancing action with the other elements of the film.

Richardson recently completed Miley Cyrus’ upcoming romantic drama The Last Song. Eclipse is scheduled to debut on June 30.

Twilight Cast Hunted by "Vultures" and "Rogues"

While Eclipse filming is nearing its end, not all Twilight castmembers are breathing easy.


We recently chatted with a very high up Summit source who emphasized to us the living hell these kids have been going through up in Vancouver.

It's been more than rumored that Breaking Dawn will be filmed somewhere other than British Columbia next year, and the reason has less to do with tax issues and more to do with the sanity of our favorite cast.

"It's not just the media invading [the Twilight cast's] privacy—it's the whole world," dishes a key Summit player.

How so?

It's obvious that we all are seeing Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart way less, and we've told you just how miserable their privacy is up in Canada. But even we have recently learned just how bad it's gotten.

"Civilians are flying in all over the world to hunt down whoever they can find," fesses the concerned power suit. "It's bad. Literally [Rob and Kristen] have no choice but to stay inside."

Apparently the tourist companies up in Canada are also getting out of control. While we're told there are some that are very respectful and keep their distance, more than a few companies and fans (one woman in particular) cross the line.
"Everyone calls them the Vultures," our insider tells us. "The cast hates, hates, hates them. The Vultures actually stalk [the cast]—hunt down every set location and hide out in order to record them everywhere they go off set. It's become unmanageable."

These "rogue tourists"—as Robsten, Summit and the whole Twi group calls them—have had some major impact on how the cast goes about their daily lives (more specifics on that tomorrow).

"These kids are just trying to film a damn movie—wish the world could let them."

Vi pratade nyligen med ett mycket högt uppsatt källa vid Summit som betonade för oss vilket helvete dessa ungdomar har gått igenom uppe i Vancouver.
 Det har kommit flera rykten om att Breaking Dawn kommer att filmas någon annanstans än British Columbia nästa år, och anledningen har mindre att göra med skattefrågor och mer att göra med att behålla förståndet för skådespelarna.

"Det är inte bara medierna som invaderar The Twilight skådespelarnas privatlivet,det  är hela världen," säger en viktig källa.


Hur så?


Det är uppenbart att vi alla sett Robert Pattinson och Kristen Stewart mycket mindre, och vi har berättat hur olyckligt deras privatliv är uppe i Kanada. Men även vi har sett hur illa det blivit.


"Civila flyger in från över hela världen för att jaga vem de än kan hitta," säger berörda. "Det är illa. Rob och Kristen har bokstavligen inget annat val än att stanna inne."


Tydligen håller turistföretagare uppe i Kanada också på att spåra ur. Medan vi veta att det finns några som är noga med att respektera  och hålla avståndet, så finns det mer än ett fåtal företag och fans (en kvinna i synnerhet) som passerar linjen.


"Alla kallar dem Vultures," säger vår insider. "Teamet hatar, hatar, hatar dem. Vultures förföljer dem faktiskt-jagar varje film plats och gömmer sig  för att kunna spela in dem överallt efter filmsetet. Det blir ohanterligt."


Dessa "rogue turister"-som Robsten, Summit och hela Twi gruppen kallar dem, har haft stor inverkan på skådespelarna glever sitt dagliga liv (mer specifit livet i morgon).

"Dessa ungdomar försöker bara att filma en j***a film-vi önskar att världen bara kunde låta dem vara ifred."

There have been lots of questions about “Breaking Dawn,” including when will production start, where will it be shot, who will be cast as the daughter of Robert Pattinson’s Edward and Kristen Stewart’s Bella, and who will direct the fourth “Twilight” film?

With all the enthusiasm for the release of “New Moon” — just a little more than a month away — as well as the tremendous interest in the filming of “Eclipse,” “Breaking Dawn” should seem a no-brainer.

However, despite reports that “Breaking Dawn” has been greenlit and production will begin in September 2010, Gossip Cop can report exclusively that, as of now, nothing is official.

A rep for Summit tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “The film has not been greenlit – and thus no decisions about the film’s shooting location, start date, the director, etc… have been made.”
