Twilight actor Charlie Bewley is set to guest star on The Vampire Diaries as Vaughn, another member of the Five, a highly skilled group of vampire hunters whose tattoos are a road map to the cure for vampirism.

We've got your exclusive first look at Bewley as the "charming and tough as hell" Vaughn, who isn't exactly Damon's (Ian Somerhalder) biggest fan.

In these stills from the CW hit's Feb. 14 episode "Down the Rabbit Hole," Bewley makes his debut as Vaughn, a hunter, when the gang, including Damon, Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Stefan (Paul Wesley), take a trip to Nova Scotia in an attempt to find the cure. (Nothing good ever happens in the woods, have they learned nothing from scary movies or their previous experiences?!)

Vaughn is seen torturing Damon, whom he's heard a lot about, but can't quite understand why he feels so strongly about Elena.

As we first reported, Bewley, who played Volturi member Demetri in the Twilight franchise, will stick around for several episodes.

The Vampire Diaries airs Thursday at 8 p.m. on the CW."

Vampire Diaries’ Joseph Morgan talks about Rob's fame and career

Joseph is the latest addition to the series playing Klaus and spoke exclusively to omg! about how a franchise such as Twilight would affect the success of its male lead: 
"Provided he didn't mess it all up, Robert was guaranteed a fan base thanks to Twilight," Joseph told us. 
"His character is iconic and there's a huge following of the books but there's a tremendous amount of pressure that comes with that." 
The gravitas of playing a heartthrob is something the 30-year-old actor can relate to as he explained how much passion fans have for the parts he and RPattz play. 
"People have their own very distinctive ideas of how a character should be portrayed especially when you're playing a vampire." 
But this is something Robert does flawlessly, as Joseph adds it's not just Edward Cullen who turned him into a superstar. 
"Having the talent helped, Robert is quite charming and humble in the press during interviews which helps. 
"I do worry thought that after Vampire Diaries finishes how many fans will come with me to watch other projects that I do and if it's just the vampire phenomenon that made us [me and Robert] famous. It's harder for Robert though." 
Judging by Joseph's looks, we don't think it's just talent or the acting gig he's got that draws the fans in but it's clearly something he worries about. "It's too early to say if I think I've been typecast, but I've been forced to take on different roles but I'm not going to lie I have done jobs just to pay the rent." Naturally we had to ask if he'd like to reach the dizzy Hollywood heights that Robert has to which he replied rather diplomatically… 
"That guy is more famous than anyone at the moment, of course I'd like to have Robert Pattinson's career but I don't like the whole celebrity aspect of it. "I'm not interested in having a photo shoot in a magazine it allows people to buy into you too much. I'm not against talking about my personal life but I don't want it to be a soap opera.
"I'm not saying Robert's is, but he can't escape it - like the gossip around who is he dating, I don't want all that." 
But that's what we REALLY need to know! Our final question to the actor was if he watched Twilight in preparation for his role in Vampire Diaries… "I watched the first one but didn't want to play it the same as Robert. 
"I thought he was good, there are so many parallels drawn between Twilight and Vampire Diaries that it was better for me not to watch it."

Is Robert Pattinson Going To Star In The Film "The Vampire Diaries - The Erotically Titillating Movie"?

HOLLYWOOD - The star of the Twilight Saga movies, Robert Pattinson has just revealed his next motion picture project.

RPattz spoke to Margarita Mixx, of The Tinsel Town Times Tribune and told her that he has agreed to star in a movie based on the hit television series, The Vampire Diaries called The Vampire Diaries - The Erotically Titillating Movie.

The director of the television series Manolo Middlezuck will also be directing the feature film which will star series cast members Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder.


Pattinson has been cast in the role of Sir Sirloin, the Scourge of The Salacious Salivators of The Sprawling Spanish State of San Sancho.

RPattz has stated that he can hardly wait to start filming and that he is really looking forward to Sir Sirloin's intimate deep forest romantic scene with Lolianna the Seductress of All Things Lusciously Lascivious who is being played by the sexually stunning and wondrously well-endowed Colombian actress and star of ABCs Modern Family, Sofia Vergara.

Middlezuck revealed that unlike the romantic scenes in the television show the ones in the movie will be much more explicit, graphic, and erotically titillating in nature.

He told Miss Mixx that millions of viewers of the hit show have written him asking that he make a film and allow the characters of Elena Gilbert (Dobrev) and Damon Salvatore (Somerhalder) some freedom in their on-screen relationship which is basically just a continuation of the couples off-screen relationship.

Middlezuck noted that he initially met with Nina and Ian and asked both if they would have any problem at all appearing in several romantically erotic scenes.

Dobrev and Somerhalder looked at each other for a few moments and then both suddenly broke out in ear-shattering laughter.

Middlezuck was taken aback, but he soon realized that their laughter was tantamount to a yes. He happily leaned over towards them and gave each one a high five.

He also showed them a piece of paper with a monetary figure showing how much each one would be receiving for their role in the movie.

Both Dobrev's and Somerhalder's eyes lit up. The two later admitted to Margarita Mixx that they could not believe how much they were getting paid for doing something that they do on a fairly daily basis for free.

Middlezuck revealed to Mixx that the movie will include an extremely graphic scene of a voodoo ritual that takes place at midnight in a misty toxic waste landfill that he feels could possibly be quite traumatizing even to the most hardened zombie-vampire-werewolf movie goer.

'The Vampire Diaries' Latest Episode Was A Twilight Lookalike

Is it just me, or was last night's "The Vampire Diaries" episode full of "Twilight" references? I usually love when "TVD" cheekily alludes to "Twilight," like the time Damon tells Caroline that real vampires don't sparkle, but last night's episode paid so much homage to Edward, Bella and Jacob that I had constant déjà vu. Amidst the vampire love story parallels, though, a LOT went down: Mason is 100% a werewolf, Matt and Caroline break up, Alaric and Jenna kiss and make up, and Elena and Damon’s friendship is all shaken up.

'Moonlight' Star Alex O'Loughlin Wonders If 'Twilight' Could Have Helped Save His Vampire Series

Just when you thought you didn't have enough vampire-related pop culture floating around this summer — what with "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" opening on June 30, the third season of "True Blood" and ABC's new "The Gates" — the CW made an announcement that excited some and shocked other when they decided to air reruns of CBS's short-lived "Moonlight" after summer reruns of "The Vampire Diaries."

The announcement came only a few weeks after we sat down to talk with "Moonlight's" leading man, Alex O'Loughlin, to chat about his romcom "The Back-Up Plan." What with vampires being all the craze nowadays, we figured we would talk to him about his own pre-"Twilight" fanged drama, not knowing how timely the conversation would soon become.


"It's a really cool genre," Alex told us about being a part of a vampire show. "I loved the Anne Rice books when I was younger. I sort of had an idea of the character before I even read the script, I had my own vampire in my head and when I read the 'Moonlight' pilot, my character in that genre, I was like, dude, I know you. I knew how I was going to do it."

Despite a fan base that really supported the show, "Moonlight" was canceled by CBS after its fourth episode back in 2007 and only lasted one season. The show was much more traditional than "Twilight," meaning its vampires were susceptible to sun and silver and slept in coffins. While other shows like "True Blood" and "The Vampire Diaries" have been able to make that classic formula work, its arguably because "The Twilight Saga" revitalized the genre.

"The vampire sort of flavor comes in and out of the entertainment world every so many years. We sort of felt like we were the beginning of this new phase," said Alex when we asked him if, had "Moonlight" debuted after "Twilight" got big, the show would have lasted longer. "I don't know what those answers are, but I loved 'Moonlight.' I put a lot into it and I got a love of amazing fans who still write to me and still rewatch [the show] — we only did a year, you know but they were very invested in the characters and the story. I just don't know, it's speculative. But I thought it was a good show!"

With our culture so infused with vamps, its hard for their not to be some overlap in style and substance, and Alex joked that sometimes he feels that actors or writers have borrowed from him and "Moonlight." "I have vampires in my head all the time," he said with a laugh. "I'm like, 'Hey, I did that before you! That's my move!

Of all the vampire shows and films out now, Alex shared that "True Blood" is his favorite. "It's more than a vampire show," he said. "I like what Alan Ball has done for the show and all of the characters and stuff. The setting is great." And, though Alex's next project is working on the very unsupernatural remake of "Hawaii Five-O," we're crossing our fingers he could potentially make a fanged cameo on one of our favorite vampire shows some day soon.
