Millions of girls just let out huge sighs of relief.
NBC News reported a cover of People magazine claiming Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner is gay is completely fake.
A People rep said the cover, which declares Lautner is “out and proud,” is “absolutely fake.”
According to the New York Daily News, Lautner is quoted on the cover saying he is “more liberated, and happier than I’ve ever been” after coming out of the closet and that he decided to reveal his homosexuality because he was “tired of rumors.”
On the doctored cover, Lautner is quoted as saying that he's "more liberated, and happier than I've ever been" after finally "announcing" his homosexuality.
While we all know it was all just a big hoax, some celebrities weren’t informed quickly enough.
Hip hop mogul Russell Simmons tweeted some support and encouragement, writing he was "proud of Taylor Lautner for his bravery and his courage.”
However, once he did realize it was all a joke he tweeted that the was "disappointed that people would joke about someone coming out about their sexuality. Let Taylor Lautner be whoever he wants to be ..."
Well as Samantha on Sex on the City once said, gay rumors just validate how famous you are. Not that Lautner needs any introduction at this point.
There are lots of rumors about the cast but its different to publish a article of false rumors then to publish a article of actualization. Taylor is not gay and although I support gay pride I am slighlty annoyed by this rumor simply because a actual article was written with supposed quotes from Taylor himself. But no worries Taylor we all still support you!
