telegraph The 19-year-old American Twilight Saga star is the new face of the affordable Japanese chain, alongside British singer Tom Odell, for spring/summer 2014.
Larry Meyer, Uniqlo CEO and Fast Retailing Group Senior Vice President refers to its new cast as "young and talented" adding, "We are very happy Dakota and Tom will showcase our newest lines all across the world."
Tom Odell has been overachieving in the music world. The Chichester-born won the Brits critics choice award in 2013 and his debut album went to number one in the charts. He was also enlisted by Burberry to provided the soundtrack to its spring 2013 campaign and autumn/winter 2013 womenswear catwalks show.
The new collection sported by Fanning and Odell in the images launch in store on February 6.
Dakota Fanning is chosen to front Uniqlo's new Indigo campaign. She joins musician Tom Odell who also features in the adverts.
